What are the different values of the Type field in the Ethernet headers that you observed?

The Ethernet frame type field is at the 13-14 bytes. Two different values of the type field
noticed in the Ethernet headers were ARP and IP. All the packets were either of type ARP or
ICMP. The ARP messages were of type request/reply. The ICMP messages were of type echo
(ping) request or echo (ping) reply.
