What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Demographic variables describe populations by identifying traits, such as age, income, gender, ethnic background, marital status, race, religion, and social class. Psychographic variables are lifestyles, interests, and attitudes. Psychographic variables are important to marketers because, unlike demographic variables, they can be changed by marketing efforts.
