Spread spectrum technology spreads the transmission over one or more adjoining frequencies,using greater bandwidth to transmit the signal. Spread spectrum frequency ranges are very high, in the 902-928 MHz range and much higher. Spread spectrum transmissions typically send data at a rate of 1-600 Mbps.
