Watching this mediated version of Two Character Play is a far different experience than being part of the live audience. Identify three major issues and/or moments that the mediation of the video changed or affected and discuss how those changes affect your own interpretation of the play.

What will be an ideal response?

The student could discuss the fact that having been through the rehearsal process of the play via the chapter videos, the reader experiences something they already know a considerable amount about versus the live audience who went into this play knowing little other than that the play was premiering here at Ball State and was being published within this book. The student could also discuss the direct actor-audience interaction that is lost in watching a mediated version of the play.
