The problem solving process consists of the following steps:
i. Identify and state the problem.
ii. Collect information about the problem.
iii. Consider all information about the problem and restate it if necessary.
iv. Write all possible solutions and the possible consequences of each.
v. Select the best solution and carry it out.
vi. Evaluate the outcome. If necessary, try a different solution.
