What conditions permit white light film fog?
What will be an ideal response?
A white light leak in the darkroom that may come from around the darkroom door, pipes, or vents leading into the darkroom; a scratched safelight filter or safelight with bulb wattage that is too high; safelight that is positioned too close to the counter where films are handled; and accidentally tearing the film packet's outer wrapping under white light conditions. The operator must check the darkroom for white light leaks and seal off any found. The film packet must be handled carefully to prevent tearing the light-tight outer wrapper.
