What are ethical dilemmas? Why do they exist?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Ethical dilemmas are circumstances in which, morally speaking, there is no clear "right or wrong" answer. These situations are all too common in business because the world is subjective, and we are seldom aware of all of the variables we need to make the "correct" decision. The book describes a situation where an American manager is visiting a foreign subsidiary and finds that they are using child labor.. the manager is appalled, and has the girl removed from the floor immediately.. but she was the only person making money for her family. Without a job, she was forced to enter the world of prostitution, dying of AIDS two years later. While it is an extreme example, it's a good one. The manager thought they were doing the right thing, but in reality.. they had condemned this girl to death.
