Describe the five strategies people use to manage dialectical tension. Provide an example for each

What will be an ideal response?

Selection is a strategy in which one end of the dialectical tension is chosen over the other.
Segmentation is a tactic in which a couple compartmentalizes different aspects of their relationship.
Reframing is a strategy that allows tensions to be redefined so that tension is diluted, is made less
obvious, or is even made to disappear. Moderation is characterized by compromises in which deals
are struck to help reduce tensions. Reaffirmation is the strategy in which individuals recognize that
dialectical tensions will always be present, and therefore you should accept them and even embrace
the challenges they produce.
