What will be an ideal response?
Answer should include:
? Because every patient is unique, the documentation of the HPI improves helps the performing physician address the nature of the patient's CC. This allows the performing physician to treat each patient as a unique individual.
? It is important for physicians to understand the HPI because this is the physician's first interaction with the patient AND the CC. When the performing physician understands how those initial questions make a difference understanding the patient's CC, then the importance of documenting these initial questions becomes clear.
