Consider the relationship between the availability of a vernacular Bible and Luther's view concerning "salvation by faith."
What will be an ideal response?
Luther's view is that good works should be performed on principle as charitable efforts but they are not the source of salvation. The sacrifice of Christ guaranteed man's salvation and Luther preached this doctrine accepted by faith. Vernacular Bibles (translated by Luther) began to be available to more people, who could read, study, and develop their faith in a personal relationship with God.
