Explain the uses of conditional formatting.?
What will be an ideal response?
?Answers will vary. Conditional formatting applies formatting only when a cell's value meets a specified condition. This can help you analyze data. For example, conditional formatting is often used to highlight important trends and values of interest.?With conditional formatting, the format applied to a cell depends upon the value or content of the cell. For example, conditional formatting can format negative numbers as red and positive numbers as black. Conditional formatting is dynamic-if the cell's value changes, the cell's format also changes as needed. Each type of conditional formatting has a set of rules that defines how the formatting should be applied and under what conditions the format will be changed.?To apply a conditional format, you need to create a conditional formatting rule that specifies the type of condition (such as formatting cells greater than a specified value), the type of formatting when that condition occurs (such as light red fill with dark red text), and the cell or range to which the formatting is applied. Please see the section "Adding Conditional Formatting" for more information.
