Write about all the steps you should take to reduce your anxiety about public speaking

Explain which you think would be most important for you to follow and why, giving details of
how you would apply the steps.

What will be an ideal response?

First, expect anxiety; secondly, accept it; and thirdly, capitalize on it.  First, practice your
speech adequately.  On the day prior to a speech, be sure to get a good night?s sleep.
Eat a high-protein, nutritious meal at least one hour previous to speaking, but do not
eat too large a meal.  Drink plenty of water before and after your speech, and possibly
even during.  Walk rapidly just prior to entering the room in which you will speak to
consume extra energy.  While waiting for your turn to speak, alternately tense and
release muscles.  Do not drink caffeine, alcohol, and/or sugar before a presentation.  Use
the breathing techniques described in the text.
