How it is written: DATE(year,month,day):  The date specified in the year, month, and day arguments, which are entered as numbers.
When I would use it (Answers will vary): I would use the DATE function when I am filling in birthday data for employees.


- The NOW function:
How it is written: The NOW( ):  The current date and time based on the computer's date and time settings. This function has no arguments.
When I would use it (Answers will vary): I would use the NOW function when I always wanted an updated date and time on my worksheet.
