What will be an ideal response?
Fear develops from distress over the course of the first year and can usually be observed by about 6 months. Fear may be triggered by sudden, unexpected movement of an object or person toward an infant. Fear also becomes social about this age when infants develop attachment to familiar people and begin to show stranger anxiety.
