What are moral emotions? What is the importance of moral emotions and how do parent-child relationships influence the development of these emotions?

What will be an ideal response?

Moral emotions are shame, guilt, and pride. The development of these lays the foundation for later moral development; children who do not have warm, trusting relationships with their parents are at risk of failing to develop moral emotions or of developing moral emotions that are too weak to modify their behavior.
