Personal growth occurs when we learn how to manage interpersonal conflict.
By experiencing conflict with others we become better able to understand our own
thoughts and feelings. We may also become more empathetic as we begin to
understand the emotions and feelings of others. In addition, by thinking about others'
attitudes and opinions we may begin to change our own.
