Discuss strokes, including the end caps and other features offered on the Stroke panel.
What will be an ideal response?
Strokes can be used as important design concepts in illustrations, and the Stroke panel offers controls to create complex dashed strokes. When you create a dashed stroke, end caps determine the appearance at the ends of the path. The Stroke panel offers three end caps to choose from: a Butt Cap (the default) is a blunt cap that ends at the anchor points; a Round Cap creates an oval at the ends of the path, and a Projecting Cap extends the stroke past the anchor points to a distance that is equal to one-half the point size of the stroke itself. In addition to caps, the Stroke panel offers many different arrowheads that you can apply to the endpoints of a path. Once you apply the arrowhead that you want, you can use the Scale option on the Stroke panel to specify the size of the arrowhead that you think looks best.
