Explain why it is questionable that the American Revolution was actually a “revolution.”
What will be an ideal response?
Applying the strict definition of a revolution, the American Revolution was questionable because there wasn’t enough social change that took place. The term “revolution” when defined strictly as a phenomenon that produces large-scale, sudden political and social change. The social environment of America was the same before and immediately after the revolution.
