What is the difference between a DTE and a DCE?

What will be an ideal response?

The customer' s endpoint device on the WAN is called the Data Terminal Equipment (DTE), and the carrier's endpoint device for the WAN is called the Data Communications Equipment (DCE). For example, when you connect a home router and a DSL modem to make a DSL connection to an ISP, the router is the DTE and the modem is the DCE.Generally, the DTE is the responsibility of the customer and the DCE is the responsibility of the ISP. The DTE communicates on the LAN, and the DCE communicates on the WAN. Sometimes the DTE and DCE are combined in the same device. For example, a router might have one WAN network adapter that connects to a fiber-optic or frame relay WAN and one LAN network adapter that connects to an Ethernet, twisted-pair LAN.?

Clusters of documents can be summarized by finding the top terms (words) for the documents in the cluster, e.g., by taking the most frequent k terms, where k is a constant, say 10, or by taking all terms that occur more fre- quently than a specified threshold. Suppose that K-means is used to find clusters of both documents and words for a document data set.

(a) How might a set of term clusters defined by the top terms in a document cluster differ from the word clusters found by clustering the terms with K-means? (b) How could term clustering be used to define clusters of documents?
