Out-of-home media that is well placed does an excellent job of delivering high numbers of impressions for a low CPM. OOH is also a good choice for messages that have a geographic content, such as "Five miles to the best burgers in the state!" Also, marketers have control over the location, size, and duration of their messages, a benefit not offered by other types of media. However, out-of-home media messages need to be brief, as the time for passersby to process the message is limited. Also, in top national markets, out-of-home advertising can have significant costs.
