What is declarative knowledge?

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. Declarative knowledge is a term used in psychology to refer to cognitive components that represent facts. Declarative knowledge is represented in an associative network by two nodes linked together by a path. Nodes simply represent concepts in the network, while paths represent association between nodes. Consumers' declarative knowledge may not always be correct, but consumers do act upon the beliefs this knowledge represents. In everyday experiences, a consumer compares all of these bits of knowledge with reality. Every time a consumer encounters a supportive instance of declarative knowledge, that knowledge becomes stronger. Every concept within a consumer's associative network is linked to every other concept.
