involvement in the relationship. It is also characterized by more personal information being shared.
Integrating: This stage is marked by the relationship having a sense of togetherness. The relationship
has become deeply meaningful and important to both individuals. Bonding: During this stage of
relational development, a public announcement of commitment occurs.
