What was Konrad Lorenz's contribution to attachment theory?
What will be an ideal response?
Konrad Lorenz researched imprinting in birds. He found that whatever moving object a bird first saw after hatching, it would imprint on. Imprinting provided protection. It would cause the young bird to stay close to his mother so she could protect him. This meant that there was some biological basis involved in protection.
