Discuss the importance of the Wagner Act and the Taft-Hartley Act
What will be an ideal response?
The National Labor Relations Act, more frequently called the Wagner Act, guaranteed workers the right to organize and join unions, to bargain collectively, and to act in concert in pursuit of their objectives. The Labor-Management Relations Act of 1947, or the Taft- Hartley Act, is to specify unfair union labor practices. The right-to-work laws forbid compulsory union membership in certain states; employees are free to choose whether or not to join the union.
