In a wired LL–based WSN that spans a radius of 1000 meters, estimate the optimal length, L, of LLs that need to be used for minimizing the APLB. Assume all the LLs are of constant length and are deployed from BS to a circle of radius L

What will be an ideal response?

This is a challenge problem. You may approach the problem by considering a simpler situation
of a circular network in which there is a circular ring at radius
RLL is placed. LLs are placed
between the ring and the the BS. Now the optimal radius of the ring
RLLopt may be estimated
such that the APLB can be minimized. You may also take the network as a highly dense one
so that the analysis can be tractable.
