What are the four stages of sexual response cycle described by Masters and Johnson?
What will be an ideal response?
* Excitement: sexual arousal increases rapidly; heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration increase.
* Plateau: arousal builds but at a slower rate.
* Orgasm: when sexual arousal reaches maximum intensity, orgasm occurs.
* Resolution: physiological changes associated with sexual arousal gradually decline. (See Figure 7-7, p. 217.)
