What will be an ideal response?

If one focuses on sensory stimuli it will be retained in short-term memory (working memory) in which information is held for about one minute and can be repeated and manipulated. Short-term memory span: seven plus or minus two. With rehearsal, information can be stored in long-term memory: permanent storage that is limitless but can be inaccurate.
