The employer's concern about facing arm's-length bargaining indicates an unethical corporate attitude. Obtaining a "viable" collective bargaining agreement in 1983 for a $25,000 payment and the making of monthly payments of $5,000 to both Stolfi and Casalino were egregious wrongs by the employer and by the union officials. The losers in such a corrupt arrangement were the workers.
