Identify the three faces of political parties in the United States.

What will be an ideal response?

American political parties have three faces, or spheres of operation. The three components include the party in the electorate (all those who identify with or tend to support the party), the party organization (the formal staff apparatus, at all levels of government), and the party in government (the partisan identifications of elected leaders in local, county, state, and federal government).
