How is the Role Delineation Study related to the BOC certification examination?

What will be an ideal response?

The BOC conducts the RDS to determine what athletic trainers are doing. That is, the RDS defines the role or practice of athletic training. The BOC uses this information to determine the contents of the BOC examination. For example, the RDS reveals that athletic trainers diagnose pathologies. In response the BOC examination assess students’ knowledge to diagnose injuries. A student who passes the BOC examination should therefore have the knowledge to function as an entry-level athletic trainer.
