What trend/shift in fathering in developed countries has been seen recently?
What will be an ideal response?
Previously, women were left to do most of the childrearing, if not all. Lately, families have become more egalitarian. American fathers do about 85% of the childrearing that mothers do. Fathers are more likely to provide near-equal care for young children if both parents work similar hours and when marriage satisfaction is high.
