What is cadence? Discuss the four ways suggested by your text for creating cadence in your

presentation.

What will be an ideal response?

Cadence is the rhythm of language. Stylistic devices that produce cadence help the
presentation be memorable for the listeners. The text recommends using parallelism
which occurs when two or more phrases have the same grammatical pattern; antithesis
which is when two similar sentence structures contrast with each other; repetition
which emphasizes a key word or phrase by using it more than once; and alliteration
which is the repetition of an initial consonant sound several times in a phrase or
sentence.
