?How do you save a PowerPoint presentation as a package presentation for CD and as a PDF?

What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. You can package a presentation for CD, which saves all the files needed to run the presentation in a folder or to a CD. If you package a presentation to a CD, when the CD is inserted in the computer and starts running, the user is offered the opportunity to download Viewer, a free program that allows you to run a slide show but not edit it. You can also search the Microsoft Web site for this program and install it on any computer that does not already have PowerPoint installed on it. To package a presentation for CD, on the Export screen in Backstage view, click Package Presentation for CD.?You can save a presentation as a PDF file and then open it using the Reader app. When you save a presentation as a PDF file, each slide becomes a page in the PDF file, or you can change this so that the PDF looks like a handout with the number of slides per page that you specify. To do this, on the Export screen in Backstage view, click Create PDF/XPS Document, and then click the Create PDF/XPS button. This opens the Publish as PDF or XPS dialog box. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the PDF file, and type the file name you want to use in the File name box. To make the PDF file size smaller, click the Minimum size (publishing online) option button to select it. If you want to open the PDF automatically after creating it, select the Open file after publishing check box. Please see the section "Saving a Presentation for Distribution" for more information.
