What is the difference between pseudo?listening and selective listening?
What will be an ideal response?
Pseudolistening is pretending to pay attention when really you are not. Pseudolistening is often punctuated by saying "uhhuh" or "yeah" to give the false impression that you
are listening. Selective listening is paying attention to the speaker only when the speaker says
something that interests you, fading in and out of listening.
