Explain the difference between RAM and cache memory.

What will be an ideal response?

RAM (random access memory) is the main memory of the computer, while cache memory is a special memory used by the CPU to decrease the average time taken for memory access. RAM is where programs reside when they’re executing and its where the data your computer is acting on is located. Cache memory is more expensive than RAM.
