Discuss Samuel Huntington's views on Islamic fundamentalism

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Huntington's view on Islamic fundamentalism was focused after the end of the Cold War and was defined by distinct civilizations. Huntington suggested that fundamentalism represents sole authentic expression of Islam. The different set of values, beliefs and norms of people living side by side seemed impossible at the time. Huntington argued that Islamic civilization had experienced a population explosion which was creating instability because of fundamentalist views and movements. The movements continued to grow as the Islamic civilization begain to grow.
