What is the basic difference between a developing and underdeveloped or Less Developed Country (LDC) country?
What will be an ideal response?
Less developed countries are those who have a large share of the population who cannot or have difficulty in meeting basic needs like food, clothing, shelter or health care. The gradual process of improving the ability of people to have these needs met is development. Countries that remain underdeveloped have not made any progress in achieving this.
