How are action-oriented and time-oriented listening styles different?
What will be an ideal response?
One uses an action-oriented listening style when focusing on the information of a message rather than the delivery with the desire to use the information. However, with time-oriented listening, individuals don't want to waste time on complex details of information and just want the highlights. So action-oriented listening seeks more information and direction, whereas time-oriented listening seeks only the most important information quickly delivered.
