It contains 172 individual guide numbers, each of which constitutes a two-page summary of information concerning the potential hazards of the referenced hazardous material, recommended actions that relate to public safety, and recommended emergency-response actions to be implemented during a transportation mishap involving the material in question.
d. It contains information concerning initial isolation and protective-action distances for small and large spills of hazardous materials that are highlighted in the yellow and blue sections. It also provides a list of dangerous-when-wet materials.
