When working without an interactive dialog such as a color picker, it is easier to estimate a color in terms of Hue, Saturation and Brightness than it is in terms of RGB or CMY. Verbal descriptions of colors are more readily converted into HSB values. It is also easier to create color harmonies when working in terms of Hue.
