At the company's annual picnic, you tell your boss about a conference you attended on the "reset economy." Your boss thinks a reset economy will be a step backwards for the business community. Do you agree? Explain

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Sample response: I do not agree with this perspective. A reset economy focuses on correcting many of the Industrial Revolutions' negative impacts on society and the environment. By no means is resolving these past mistakes "moving backwards." For example, using technologies to develop new energy sources will clean the environment. Expansion of Internet access to developing countries can improve educational opportunities through distance learning. Distributing e-book readers to rural children can give them opportunities to improve reading skills; a foundation for economic empowerment. Each of these "reset" projects can also create jobs for the people implementing them. A reset economy can move the world forward while providing broad economic opportunity.
