Give an example of how generational differences can cause problems at work
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Members of the Silent Generation believe in working hard, paying your dues, and clean living. Members of the Baby Boomer Generation are competitive, bossy, and like to lead. Members of Generation X like surprises, fun, and humor at work and they dislike being micromanaged. Members of Generation Y fit work into their lives but focus on work/life balance. These kinds of generational differences can result in diverse opinions, values, and priorities about what "work" should and should not be.
