Most enterprises' accounting systems include the module shown in the baseline accounting system. This model comprised of modules and events common to most enterprises can be customized to meet enterprise-specific needs. For example, if a company's only distribution channel is ecommerce, then the customer module must be customized to satisfy this difference. In the customization stage, the enterprise drills down to develop a more detailed view of the accounting system and seed how certain business processes are performed.
