Describe transformative mediation and its main elements. Provide a brief example (no more than 100 words) of a transformative mediation.

What will be an ideal response?

A critical element of this mediation style is that the focus is on transforming the communication between the disputants. The underlying belief is that the conflict is a crisis in communication between the parties. In that sense, what matters more in this mediation process is the communication process than reaching an outcome. Another central element is that disputants set the agenda, and the mediator follows their lead.
