For any play (or one selected by the instructor) you have read, imagine that you are the producer and must select a theatrical configuration in which to produce the play. What are some of the issues related to that configuration you must consider? How might the audience experience the play within that space?

A student could decide to move a larger scale production into a black box theatre (such as The Producers) or a 6-person drama (like The Pillowman) in an alley configuration and justify it through artistic choices that support the script.
