Briefly explain how learning takes place in classical conditioning. Briefly explain how learning takes place in operant conditioning. Give an example of each type of conditioning

What will be an ideal response

In classical conditioning, individuals learn to associate a neutral stimulus with a meaningful stimulus
and come to respond in the same way to the neutral stimulus as they naturally responded to the
meaningful stimulus. In operant conditioning, individuals increase their behavior when it is frequently
paired with a reinforcer and decrease their behavior when it is frequently paired with a punishment.
