Discuss the need to develop a flexible naming system when it comes to styles.

Best practices suggest that when you create styles, you should use names that refer to the way each style is used rather than its aesthetic characteristics. As Web sites evolve, the characteristics of each style might change. For example, if you name a subheading style blue_medium to reflect the text color and later change the look of the site so that subheading text is red and large, the style name no longer makes sense. But if you name the style b_headings, it will always be clear that this style should be used to format text that is designated as a second-level subheading (often called a B head) according to the hierarchy of heading text in your site plan. In addition, you cannot use special characters or spaces when you name styles. When you need to separate words, a good idea is to use an underscore (_) instead of a space. If you do not name styles logically, as the site evolves and the styles change, you can end up with a site that is difficult for designers to work with because the style names no longer describe the style characteristics.
