Procedure: After positioning the patient, general anesthesia was administered. A midline abdominal incision was made. The stomach was dissected free from the surrounding structures, and the tumor was visualized. The tumor measured 1.4 cm in diameter. The tumor was then removed, and a 1-cm segment of tissue was additionally excised. A stapling device was used to close the stomach defect. The incision was closed in layered sutures.
