The various categories of powers should be defined and described. These would include delegated powers, reserved powers, and concurrent powers. The relationships among the states should be described in terms of the full faith and credit clause of the Constitution, the privileges and immunities clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, and the constitutional requirement for extradition. The instability in the relationship between the states and the national government can be explained by the vagueness of the Constitution and the seeming contradiction between the national supremacy clause of the Constitution and the reserved powers clause of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution.
