Explain how a company competes using outsourcing. Provide an example.

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: Outsourcing is when a company moves jobs or resources to another country, rather than its own. This can be for multiple reasons, such as cheaper labor, increased resources, or a stronger economic market. A current example of outsourcing revolves around Apple in their choice to assemble their iPhone (as well as other products) in China. One of the reasons why Apple chose to do this was because of the low cost of labor. China also had more engineers to offer than the United States for maximizing the production of these products.
